Bought 2 of these spinning rods. 1/2 snapped on the second trip out, while the other is still going strong 2 years in. Depending on the type of fishing and frequency of fishing, could be the right rod for the person.

I bought this rod and reel for my girlfriend and it broke after the first casting couldn't reel in any line what so ever it would spin but nothing was engaging the line after taking it apart one of the gears teeth had been broken so no i would not recommend. If you happen to buy this replace the spinning reel with a better one.

Loved the action of this rod. Was my go to rod. After the first season I noticed one of the inserts for my guides was missing. Didn't really affect my fishing so I went on. As time went by I lost another insert in another guide, then noticed I had one that had actually broke and was still in the guide. So I'm down 3 now.

I bought this to replace a medium-light rod I had purchased and hated. With this one, I went with a medium-heavy and love it! I like to be able to "feel" what the lure is doing, and this rod is great for that! It also has a great positive feel when a fish bumps or bites your lure/jig. I have caught more fish with it as well!

The rod is great but the last eye is supper thin so after time the line will wear the meatal down and create dips for the line to run in which then causes the line to shred up but other than that love the rod cause my on with it and it handled great

Nice rod, but the guide liner on the largest guide was gone after only a few months. Now my braid gets a knot in it after half a day of fishing.

I bought a vengence '6"6 medium/heavy rod two piece and loved it for bass and walleye fishing. So my son bought the same one just an one piece. He loves it, and caught the biggest bass of his life last spring, 27 inches 7lbs 14 oz, it was after the spawn. I know it would have been easy 9 plus post spawn. So hear is my dilima, my other son wants one but needs a two piece and can't find one anywhere.
